What about old static core banking providers… what about old payment switch providers… old cash management providers…
Haven’t seen the same push for old world platform providers…
In each business event we go, there is someone bashing banks… Thanks to this push and overall skills, most banks will move ahead fast… Instead of upgrading old platforms, they will go with new age API based cloud hosted core platforms, channels… Wake up call for software platform providers.
Btw I spoke to a leading platform provider.. After 15 min I could not make him understand the need for APIs!!! He was still caught in My Screen, My Process, My package…
