Indian Fintech Funding October 2023
Wealthtech! Insurtech! seems to be the buzz words of this month… 63% of the total Wealthtech and 30% of the total Insurtech funding happened in October. What seems to be the catalyst of this trend? Could it be the rising regulatory control in Wealthtech or the potential opportunities from the latest ONDC’s announcement of insurance services?
October has followed the trend of last month where the funding has crossed the last year’s benchmark, a very positive sign for the market. InsuranceDekho which has already raised USD 150 M this year, has further raised USD 60 M this month emerging as the highest-funded player this month. Neo Group founded by the former Edelweiss CEO, emerged as the second highest funded company with USD 35 M for the month.
